What do we do?

Prime Accounting Services acts as a mobile Financial Controller / Manager. The service is for small business who cannot afford to hire a full-time financial manger, and seek to outsource this function, so that it is cost-efficient. We do not seek to replace your tax accountant, who is responsible for statutory reporting on a historical basis i.e. reporting what has happened for the past quarter or year. Instead we are pro-active and attempt to influence the future performance on the business. As such our service usually pays for itself.

We do this by looking at 3 key areas of the business: Revenue; Cash flow and Costs.

General

1. We install and maintain accounting systems such as MYOB and Quicken to ensure that there is an accurate and reliable system to record revenues and costs.

Revenue

1. We analyse sales by product; division or sales person to find areas where we can increase revenue.
2. We help prepare sales budgets to facilitate achieving targeted sales.

Cash flow

1. We review the methods of collecting debts including invoicing procedures; follow up letters etc.
2. We can collect outstanding debts because of our extensive experience.

Costs

1. We prepare break-even analysis of the business to ascertain maximum allowable costs.
2. We review all costs and offer advice for cost savings, based on our experience.

How often do we do this?

We can undertake once-only services, but prefer to be involved on a regular basis e.g. once a week or month depending on circumstances. We become part of your management team, and have an intimate knowledge of the business.

Who can use our services?

Anyone in business who does not have a senior financial professional working in their business. They range from a sole operator earning $50,000 p.a. up to a typical small business of 10 staff with $5m revenue.
